Noon Report Analysis

Your noon reports already hold your EU ETS, FuelEU and CII figures. We make them exact, signed and checkable.

A Windows program for technical, commercial and compliance teams. It reads the reports your vessels already send, checks every one of them, and turns them into the figures you report, pay and plan with.

EU ETS & FuelEU

On demand, to the minute, berth to berth.

  • Any period, in UTC to the minute, with pro rata where a report spans the start or the end.
  • Or a voyage, from cast off at one port of call to all fast at the next, taken from the berthing events in the reports.
  • Anchorage and drifting before berthing count as voyage, time alongside as port. Transits and bunkering-only stops stay in the voyage.
  • 50% or 100% applied per part, from the EU/EEA status of each port.
  • VLSFO, ULSFO, LSMGO and other grades kept apart; CO2, CH4 and N2O as CO2e.
  • Book corrections attributed to the right voyage or port stay, and listed for you before you issue.
  • EUA cost at your price; FuelEU compliance balance and penalty estimate.

Verification

Signed. Checkable by anyone.

Every statement is signed with your company’s key when you issue it. The QR code on the PDF opens verify.assosmarine.gr: Valid if the statement is genuine and unchanged, Not valid if a single figure was altered.

  • Recharge EU ETS costs to time charterers under the BIMCO ETS clause with a statement they can check themselves.
  • Give owners, pool partners and banks figures they can trust without asking for the spreadsheet.
  • The check runs on the viewer’s phone. Nothing is uploaded, and the page never shows who signed.

Valid means genuine and unchanged since it was issued. It does not replace the yearly verification of your emissions by an accredited verifier.

Projection

Know the cost before you fix, and the rating before the year ends.

Voyage estimate

Enter the ports, distance, speed and days in port. The program estimates fuel, EUAs and FuelEU for the voyage and issues a signed estimate for the chartering desk.

Voyage estimateExample
Passagenon-EU → EU · 4,250 nm · 12.5 kn14.2 days
Port stay, EU5.0 days
FuelVLSFO 341 t · LSMGO 15 t356 t
EUA · at €75.00589.4 EUA€44,205
FuelEU penalty, estimate€11,021
Emissions cost of the voyage€55,226

CII, before the year closes

Year to date against the required value, the year-end projection if she keeps sailing as she does, and the speed that would bring a better rating. It warns when a third D, or an E, would call for a corrective action plan in SEEMP Part III.

CII · attained ÷ requiredExample
ABCDE1.085 D · as now1.052 C · 11.5 knYTD 1.09JFMAMJJASOND

Year to date 1.09 (D). Sailing as now, the year ends at 1.085: a D. At 11.5 kn with less waiting, 1.052: a C.

Report checks

Every report checked before it becomes a figure.

Noon reports are filled in by hand at sea. Whatever can be calculated is calculated again from the raw data: distances from positions, slip from RPM and speed, consumption from ROB. What does not add up is flagged, and most issues are fixed on the spot in the Daily reports screen.

  • Positions, distances and speeds that cannot be right
  • Weather beyond the scale, impossible slip, missing fields
  • ROB that does not follow, bunkers, surveys and book corrections
  • Corrected reports replace older ones by their “modified on” time
  • Ports matched to the EU/EEA list, with a position check

Performance

Hull, engines, consumables and the fleet at a glance.

Hull & propeller

ISO 19030 principles

Speed loss and propeller slip against the clean hull after dry-dock. Only steady, good-weather days are used. Power is estimated from the fuel burned, because reported power is often derived from RPM. Idle days in warm water are counted, and hull cleaning and propeller polishing are typed in on the page.

When the data cannot support a verdict, the program says “Uncertain” and tells you what it needs, rather than showing a reassuring green.

Main & auxiliary engines

Load, fuel per unit of work, running hours and trends against the shop tests.

Fuel & bunkers

Remaining on board reconciled grade by grade, bunkers received, surveys and book corrections, each classified and attributed to the right voyage or port stay.

Lubricants, water, bilge & sludge

Daily and monthly consumption per type, flags for over-consumption, supplies, fresh water, bilge and sludge.

Fleet overview

Every vessel at a glance: at sea, at anchor or alongside, since when, the last report, fuel on board and the voyage map.

Who uses it

The same figures for every desk.

Technical

Performance, consumption and the data quality of each vessel, without opening a spreadsheet.

Commercial

Emissions cost per voyage before fixing, and signed statements for recharges.

Compliance

EU ETS, FuelEU and CII through the year, with the times and sources a verifier will ask for.

Accounts

Allowance cost per voyage and per period, ready to invoice or reconcile.

How it runs

In your office, with the reports you already have.

  • One setup file for Windows. Runs on a PC or on your office server.
  • Your data stays in your office. No cloud account, no hardware on board, no extra work for the crew.
  • Reads Danaos noon report exports and PDF, Word and Excel noon reports. For other formats, send us a sample.
  • We set up each vessel from documents you already hold: particulars, sea trials, shop tests and hydrostatics.
  • Automatic backup before every update. Editing rights are given per PC.
Do we need sensors or new equipment?

No. The program works from the noon reports your vessels already send. Better reports give better results, and the checks show the crew what to improve.

Is the QR check the same as MRV verification?

No. The QR proves the statement is genuine and unchanged since it was issued. Your accredited verifier still verifies the yearly emissions report; our statements make that work easier by showing times, sources and corrections.

Where is our data stored?

On the PC or server where the program is installed. Nothing is sent to us or to a cloud service. The verification page checks the code on the viewer’s device.

Can several people use it?

Yes. Install it on the PCs you choose or on your server; editing rights are given per PC, so others can view without changing anything.

How do we start?

Start with the free trial on one vessel. When you decide to go ahead, we set up your vessels from their documents before installation, so the first screen you open already shows their figures.

Free trial

Send us three months of noon reports for one vessel.

We return the full analysis, free of charge: an EU ETS and FuelEU statement, the data checks, the CII projection and a call to walk you through it.
